It was a Sunday, one week before the assassination attempt at Râul Alb. In the construction site area of Coroiești, Luca Sălășan and his partner, Sara Leordean, appeared.
Sălășan is part of the “local division” of #activists, and by his own admission, he had been to the site 7–8 times before, spying on it at the request of Călin Dejeu, to whom he reported that:
“The construction site was in the same state as in the winter,”
according to his statement to investigators (video 7.1).
The events of May 17 were ridiculously mundane—a playful scuffle between young people, unrelated to the investments at Râul Alb and without my knowledge of the incident.
Yet, this trivial incident was blown out of proportion, twisted, and sensationalized by the NGO propaganda, which blamed me for allegedly guarding the valley “mafia-style.”
The absurd conclusion drawn by former senator Mihai Goțiu is not even supported by the testimonies of the “activists” involved.
Here’s how the events are described by “victim” Luca Sălășan in his statement to police:
“On 17.05.2015, I went with my girlfriend to the Narcissus Festival in Nucșoară, and I told her that, since we were nearby, we could pass by the construction area. (...)
At that moment, a large 5-seater ATV approached, from which 4 men got out. The driver, whom I later learned from Sara was named Alin Coman, came toward us and began, along with the other three, to accuse us of taking pictures of logs near the bridge so that we could later steal them.
All four put their hands on my neck, ripped off a medallion from me, and since Sara responded verbally and even made an obscene gesture, Alin Coman slapped her. Eventually, I spoke with Nelu Coman, Alin's father, and explained our presence. He understood, and we left, saying we wouldn't return.” (doc.1)
However, Nelu Coman, an employee of our company at the time, states:
“There, I saw a boy and a girl. The boy was filming the property with a camera, which he quickly put away when he saw us. I asked what they were doing there. He told me they were on a walk, taking pictures for an album or maybe a wedding shoot.
I emphasize that no conflict took place between us. I also affirm that no one was assaulted during the encounter.”
Despite all this, NGO-driven media hysteria named us responsible for the incident.
Yet, all evidence shows they provoked the confrontation.
The most telling proof is the exchange of text messages between “activist” Luca Sălășan and Alin Coman on the evening of May 17, 2015:
Sălășan Luca:
“The nightmare of your life has begun… I’ll enjoy watching it!” – 6:36 PM
Coman Alin:
“We’ll be watching each other...” – 7:17 PM
Sălășan Luca:
“I’ve seen plenty of idiots… but shameless ones like you are rare. It’s a case I’ll ‘study’ down to the bone!” – 7:31 PM
Clearly, Sălășan knew what he was talking about.
Just one week later, he was among the group that descended upon Coroiești, provoked violence, and ultimately carried out the attempted murder.
The following day, on May 18, 2015, Mihai Goțiu published another misleading and slanderous article about us on romaniacurata.ro:
“This morning, România Curată received several images from the same area, showing mass logging.
Upstream of where the logs were found lies both a natural park and Retezat National Park.
Two young people who tried to go up the valley (and took the photos) claim they were assaulted by a local councilor and two others, who blocked them from going any further.
TO BE CONTINUED.” (article 1)
In this article, Goțiu escalates the claims, falsely stating that “a natural park and Retezat National Park” are located upstream of the site.
In reality, our project area has nothing to do with these parks.
Everyone, including the locals, knew that the logs in the pictures belonged to local land cooperatives.
Moreover, Călin Dejeu and Dan Păvăloiu had filmed those same logs on April 27, 2015, in the exact same spot.
Investigations confirmed the logging was legal and unrelated to our investments.
As for the alleged assault on the two "young activists" on May 17, 2015—there is no evidence supporting that any violence occurred.
Regarding the red mark on Sălășan’s neck, it's obvious he inflicted it himself by repeatedly rubbing his necklace after the event.
Even his own testimony doesn’t blame those he met that day.
These provocations, threats, and fabricated claims were clearly aimed at producing an incident to portray us as violent—just as Goțiu Mihai described:
“The valley is patrolled, mafia-style, by the company owner and ‘volunteers,’ armed with clubs and dogs.”
But ultimately, it was proven that I wasn’t even present during this incident.
I only found out six months later, when I received a copy of the attempted murder case file.
It was only then that I asked Nelu Coman for details—and that Alin Coman showed me the threatening texts he had received.
In upcoming episodes, you’ll see how this incident was only officially recorded after the attempted murder of May 24, and became part of criminal file no. 456/P/2015—a case artificially and retroactively built.
This judicial charade was heavily and abusively used by both prosecutors and environmental agitators alike.
